Hair extension after care
How to care for your hair extensions
Do not wash hair for at least 2-3 days to allow the hair extensions to adhere completely.
Brush your hair daily! Always start at the ends moving up.
Use a sulfate-free and paraben-free shampoo. Begin at the scalp and massage shampoo in a "z" formation to wash.
Use a sulfate-free and paraben-free conditioner. Apply conditioner from mids to ends leave in for 2-3 mins. Do not apply conditioner near scalp, it will cause extensions to slip out.
Towel dry or air dry hair as much as possible before blow drying. Always put in a leave-in conditioner/heat protectant as well as treatment oils to protect your extensions.
Avoid products that have oil and alcohol near the point of attachment this will cause the extensions to slip out. Use professional grade products only.
When using hot tools keep away from point of attachment to ensure extensions do not melt or fuse together.
Before sleeping brush and loosely braid hair. Do not go to bed with wet hair!
When swimming wet hair and add leave-in conditioner. Tie a loose ponytail or braid. After swimming rinse hair extensions and spray leave-in conditioner.

A: This will be different for everyone. K tips might feel lighter or not be felt at all because of the small individual bonds. Wefts can feel heavier because of the amount of hair per row.

A: Of course! Bellami and Hot Heads hair extensions are 100% human hair and should be treated as such.
